A message for everybody who might be getting scammed (even furry artists)

Hi all. I came here to say this because i am worried about what might happen to those people. There are thousands of scammers out there, and they can put you in a difficult situation if you’re not careful. If you get messages asking for a commission, you’re better off blocking them or reporting them. In case this happens again, its best to do this:

Go to https://www.reddit.com/settings/messaging and switch it from „everybody“ to „nobody“ (but you can make exceptions about it if you want to make friends).

A genuine artist won’t message you and ask for a commission. The people who claim these artworks as theirs are either stolen or AI generated. I’m 19, and if you’re a minor, absolutely be careful. Hope you can stay safe!
