A Possible Change to the Subreddit’s Rules: Original Artwork Only.

We wanted to put out some feelers and see how you all would feel if we moved to only allow original artwork to be submitted to the subreddit.

This would mean that you would only be allowed to submit a piece of art if…
– You are the original artist of the work.
– The artwork was commissioned by you or for you.
– You have explicit permission from the artist or commissioner.

Basically if it was not made by you, for you or you don’t have permission to post it, you won’t be allowed to post it.

This already makes up the majority of the art that’s posted here, and we could only really think of incredibly niche scenarios where this maybe might be an issue. The only real con was that it’s more stuff that we’ll have to moderate.
