Do people like non canine/feline designs?

Currently trying to work an old hybrid concept of mine into a humanoid species. I always go through a lot of rough sketches before I settle on something so still very early design process.

Obviously there are a lot of lovely canine and feline designs out there, it would just be nice to see some other species. I see a lot of furry artists add canine or feline qualities to other animals, such as paw pads on a bunny or a deer, which neither of them have. At the end of the day it’s obviously a fantasy creature design and it doesn’t exist in real life, I just appreciate it when people stay true to the base species.

If anyone was wondering, this thing is inspired by Gila monster, peccary, and American goldfinch. Obviously I took artistic liberty with some anatomical things like the face, after all it’s supposed to be humanoid.
