fursuiting in public?? (pride event especially)

heyy so i wanted to ask how y’all’s experiences were with fursuiting in public especially at events like pride parade thingys since i’m planning to do that and it’s most likely accepted (i also saw some furrys last year there) but i just wanna know what it is like because i was at a anime convention about a few weeks ago and i got asked by people to take pictures or for hugs every now and then and i just wanna know if it’s worse at pride thingy (at where i live it’s pretty big idk if it makes a difference) because i’m kinda socially awkward and don’t know how to make small talk and stuff so idk if it’s a good Idea:,) but also i’d have a friend or a few with me (not in fursuit) if that makes a difference (so much yapping i’m sorry)
