My friend dislike furries, but I don’t agree with them.

I’ll probably delete this soon, but I got into an argument with my friends about furries.

The conversation came up when a tiktok relating to Toko-San (realistic border collie suit) showed up on their feed, and they send it to the group chat. I sent back a news article with more information and said few more bits of info on it cause I’ve read and heard about it.

But then, my friend goes on a whole rant about furries, and honestly, they said some horrible things that appalled me. My other friend said this is just their usual late-night ramble where they don’t actually mean it, but I genuinely got upset by it.

I’m not a furry, but I do respect the community. So of course, I argued back with about them stance and told them my stance. They accused me of being furry, and I told them no. It went back and forth, and I realize there was no point of this argument.

I don’t know too much about the furry community. I only joined the subreddit cause I thought the art is cool, and I apologize for anything in this post that might come off as offensive or rude.

Idk, why I made this post. I guess this is an apology. I feel bad for the way the community is treated. I know most of you are decent people, and although, I may not truly understand it, I respect you guys.
