Need to get this off my chest

Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this, but this has been eating me for weeks. Back in March I was nearly attacked at a con. I was talking to myself (dont remember what I was saying exactly, but nothing offensive, and nothing targeted at anyone) and I guess 2 other furs didn’t like that I was doing this, so they chased me through the hotel calling me offensive slurs and saying they were gonna do „bad stuff“ to me. I was there alone and terrified. They tried to corner me in the lobby, but thankfully I got away. I can’t think of anything I said that would cause them to react like this. I love this fandom to death and hope I always will, but honestly my experiences so far haven’t been that great.
